About The Band

Spicy and Tasty Tapas-Style Rock
This project was born out of both a desire to have fun & from a burning need to give music listeners interesting and colorful music.

  • There’s nothing more enjoyable to a performing musician than being on stage, playing music and having fun.
  • A loving and healthy embrace of the balance between creativity and structure is our goal.
  • The lyrical content is centered on relatable stories, positive thought processes, spiritual healing and struggles, and the enjoyment of life.
  • We draw from pools of blues, radio and non-radio rock and popular styles, latin and eastern rhythms, indigenous song forms, jazz voicings and harmonies, traditional and modern techniques.
  • Many artists have made fortunes out of creating works that are media-friendly and easily digestible; there will be few references to Dr. Feelgood, Mr. Brownstone, Mr. Tambourine Man, Miss Demeanor, Mr. Postman, Rev. Horton Heat, or the saving of The Queen.   Instead, we focus on making each piece of work unique and are not bound to a single genre or classification.
  • We strive to make each piece of music a unique artwork and sonic sculpture. This includes the blending and melding of voices, tonalities, textures, and twisting structures into new experimental, yet accessible works, giving the listener new flavors for the ears.
  • While the Male and Female voices, guitars, keyboard, bass, drums & percussion are familiar, practical and convenient tools with which we make music in the 21st century, the use of auxiliary instruments and musicians will be welcomed on an as-needed basis as well. This list includes, but is not limited to harmonica, cello, violin, trumpet, organ, didgeridoo and railroad spike.
